Last week, members of HOSA assembled and delivered over 90 goodie bags to healthcare workers at Washington Regional Medical Center. Attached to each bag was a "Thank You" letter from members expressing their appreciation to the front line workers.

The Wildcat-Fish competed last Saturday against Fayetteville and there were a lot of personal best times and 1st place finishes.
Sarah P. swept both of her events in the 50 & 100 free winning them each. Emily R. also had two 1st place finishes, the 200 IM & the 100 Breast. David W. added to the sweep by winning the 200 IM & 100 Fly. Homero R. won the 100 back. Carlee Ann G. finished 1st for the WIldcats in the 200 free. India H. broke the 3 min mark in the 200 IM and swam faster in the 100 breast compared to her previous time. which allowed HB to finish 1-2 in that event. Megan S. & Carson B. achieved personal best times in her two events. Natalia R. had the fastest time for the Wildcats in the 100 fly. Yazzie L. swam two seconds faster in the 100 free and completed the 100 back. Max M. has been training hard and it paid off for him in the 200 free and going a best time in the 100 breast.
Har-Ber is looking forward to the second half of the season with Conference & State on their mind.

The Har-Ber Horse Team competed in their first competition of the year via Zoom and YouTube. Southern Illinois University hosted a virtual contest that began with students taking a virtual tour of the university, and finishing with a virtual contest.
These students were able to socially distance while also competing on their computer. Sandra Alvarado (on the right) is a second year member, and is a leader for the horse team. Jenna Duhaime (on the left) is a first year member of the horse team. We are proud these students!
