UPDATE - NEW LOCATIONS ADDED: Lunches to go will be available for Springdale Public School students ages 18 and under Tuesday-Friday between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm at Hellstern, Sonora and Tyson Middle Schools and George, Parson Hills, Smith and Jones Elementary. Sacks will include breakfast for the following day. In addition sack lunches, which will include breakfast for the following day, will be delivered Tuesday-Friday with deliveries beginning at 11 am. Please see the list of stops below.

School is closed until March 30th. Watch for updates on our school district’s Facebook page. Breakfast will be served this week from 7:15am to 10:00am. Lunch will be served from 11:00am to 12:30. Meals may be picked up behind the school in the circle driveway.

To the Springdale Community, Student and staff health and safety is the number one concern of Springdale Public Schools. Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson and Secretary of Education Johnny Key recommend school districts in counties without a presumptive case remain open in order to not disrupt community life, especially meal services for children and health services for all. The CDC guidance on COVID-19 is that short to medium duration school closings are not recommended. The major request is for good judgment be in place for hygiene for all students and staff along with social distancing. Springdale Public Schools will remain open. During National Counselor's Week the Springdale School District salutes Lisa Clough of George Elementary. She is in her 14th year at the school after teaching 18 years at Smith Elementary. Her favorite aspect of her job is "making kids happy. I like helping them with their challenges and teaching them how they can learn from those challenges. I like guidance lessons." Great counselors help make Springdale Public Schools #THEChoice.

George Giants were awarded with the title of Beating the Odds 2019 from the University of Arkansas. We were 9th overall growth! Proud to be a giant!
